Teen Dominican Republic Trip

Day 1

Thank you for praying as the group traveled today! They made it safe and sound

Day 2

Today the team traveled to Monte Plata and visited the children at Compassion International! They also went into the community for home visits. Finishing the evening with the youth group of Ciudad de Gracia. This is the church were the Gospel Hope missionaries serve.

Wonderful day full of many opportunities. Meeting new people, seeing new ministries all the while being given opportunities to serve!

Day 3&4

It’s so exciting to hear how the Lord is answering all of our prayers and more!

We have been praying that those on the trip would be exposed to what God is doing around the world. Boy have they been. They have seen brothers and sisters in Christ work together in unity for the kingdom. They have seen a new culture full of gratitude and generosity in the mist of having “less” then we do in America. They have heard first hand testimonies of the life long impact that missions work can have on a soul.

We have prayed that the group would be a blessing and encouragement to those they interacted with this week. I’ve heard so many times talking with Tyler that the people they went to visit were so grateful to have them come. The playing, spending time with and encouraging them from Gods word really did encourage hearts. The team has also spent time with multiple missionaries and have had opportunities to enrich and encourage them in the ministry God has given them.

Beyond that the team is being blessed by the community there. Can’t wait to hear the personal testimonies of each. God is good and faithful!

The team heads home tomorrow. Thank you for coming along for the journey!
